Availability Inca Trail 2026

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu will be closed the month of February by disposition of the Ministry of Culture, because maintenance, upkeep and cleaning will be performed.The entrance to the Inca Trail will be re-enabled from March 1.

Availability is updated in real time, so places can sell out quickly. To make your reservation:

• 1.- Select the tour of your choice from the drop-down menu , select your travel date.
• 2.- Click on the desired date in the calendar. This will redirect you to the booking form to complete your request.

💡 Important:The number that appears on each date represents the available spaces for that day. If you see a “0”, it means there are no more spaces for that date. Book now to guarantee your spot for this unique experience before they sell out!

Here some information should take into account:

• Act NOW to make your reservations online. We are currently accepting advance bookings for 2026, MARCH TO DECEMBER. As availability usually sells out quickly, up to six to eight months earlier.
• The availability of Wayna Picchu (Huayna Picchu) is also very limited and is easily sold out in almost every month of the year, so if you want to do tours that include this destination, we recommend making reservations well in advance.
•  The availability we use is the same to any other agency, because this information is directly provided by the Ministry of Culture.
•  The number of spaces is very variable. Agencies usually book up to 30 spaces, do not be surprised if in a moment the available spaces are sold out.
•  The spaces shown are for either route be it Classic Inca Trail 4 days, Short Inca Trail 2 days, Salkantay Trek, Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu and more.
• The availability of the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu is managed exclusively by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, only they can authorize access.
•  The Inca Trail is enabled only for 500 spaces per day, within which includes staff spaces.
• Please note that if you want to do the Salkantay Trek, Inca Jungle, Choquequirao Trek or Lares Trek, your visit to Machu Picchu will be the last day.
